Wetlands are an important part of the earth ecosystems. They filter water as it returns to rivers and eventually to the oceans. They're needed today more then ever. Yet, in our continuous abuse of Mother Nature's gift to us, we destroy them to make more room for ourselves.

In the end, we'll be the only one's responsible for the mess we're digging ourselves into. I just hope it's not to late to reverse the trend.
